Nov 18: Amish Fiction Authors to Greet, Eat & Meet at Plain & Fancy Lancaster County soon will welcome writers Vannetta Chapman, Amy Clipston and Shelley Shepard Gray. These three top selling authors of Amish fiction are joining forces to celebrate the holidays with their readers and promote their newest releases on their Amish Country Holiday Book Tour. The tour is sponsored by Zondervan, an international Christian communications and publishing company, and Avon Inspire. The book tour will include stops in Indiana, Ohio and Pennsylvania through the month of November. Click Here to see the video. The tour will arrive in Lancaster County on Friday, November 18. The writers will arrive at Plain & Fancy Farm Restaurant for a private, progressive family-style dinner at 6:00 pm with their readers and fans. After the meal, the event will move into the Amish Experience Theatre, where the authors will speak to the group. Guests will be then be invited to the Amish Country Homestead for dessert and to further mingle, get autographs and take photographs with the authors. Local writer and Amish Country News publisher, Brad Igou, will be the Master of Ceremonies for the evening and will provide guests with a glimpse into Lancaster Amish heritage.
